This is my paper clay project. It took me 2 days to make. It could hold a small candle inside of it. The clay was more fragile than what I was used to so I had to be gentle with it. :)

this is an extra lidded project. I made this out of the mixer clay. I glazed it with black and Sydney's blue. When I glazed it the lid shifted a little causing the lid to attach so the top chipped a little but you can't see if unless you really look at. I like this because of the glaze running a little giving it some style. This is the biggest lidded project I've made yet and I like how it came out. I used color to emphasize the shape of the project
for these projects I was originally making them as the set of two (the cylinders) but I ended up not having to have it anymore so they are extra/choice projects. I threw them with sea mix then I did a base coat of white and did bottle glazes hoping and succeeding that they would run. I glazed them in the same spots but each ran a little differently which I like. For the bowl I painted tiny hearts inside wanting them to run as well and it looks super cool how it did. The ones at the bottom didn't but the ones on the side did which is what I like. Then on the side I just did polkadots which had a cool run to it as well.
In both projects I used color and pattern to emphasize the project!! This is my 2 plates project. For each I used sea mix and did a double foot ring on it. For glazing I dipped then both in clear and then did water colors on top of it. I really focused on glazing for this project for both. For the first one I did a bunch of splotches next to each other with different colors. For the other one I did a dot design also alternating colors. The color emphasizes the plate and gives it a lot of character
This is my theme of three project. For this I used sea mix. I glazed this with black and shadow green on all of it. I really like how light each of the projects were because I pulled all of my clay up from the bottom evenly. The colors create movement when they touch on the project.
In this project I made another bowl, but this time I made it using sea mix. I glazed it with the white, dark blue, since blue, and black. The color drops create movement on the bowl. I am newer using sea mix but I was pretty happy about how this turned out, although i wish the bottom of the project was wider rather than skinny.
these are my tall projects for next quarter. I used sea mix to make both of them and glazed them first in white then dripped black onto them. The value in these projects show the balance in the projects. I really liked how both of these projects turned out especially because using sea mix is new to me!:)
This is an extra credit bowl project. What i did for this project was i threw with normal mixer clay and worked it into a bowl then when i was footing it I carved lines on the side. Then I glazed the whole thing in shadow green and i like how it ended up with a metallic look.
