I finished my creative mug &glazing too. The colors didn't end up like how I wanted it to but it's okay. One skill I used was making things that I love and putting them on my mug. One element I used was form because I had to make it so everything would go onto my project correctly. This created something meaningful by how it relates to me and Michigan.

In this project I took a sheet of clay that I rolled out and made it into the height and size that I wanted. One skill I used was taking something and making it so I can use in my everyday life. One element I used was form. I used it by making the shape of it and forming my project. This is meaningful because I have improved My skills from over the years and I will be able to use it in my everyday life now. In this project I took two "bowls" made out of clay and stuck them together which made the body of my cow. One skill I used was improving my clay making from the past years. One element that I used was also form because I hade to make many things hollow and I have to create shapes for many too. This is meaningful because out of my middle school years doing this I have showed improvement. Today I finished my handle. Now my mug Is finished. I have go blue on the handle and a michigan sign and "Murph" on the outside of the cup. Today I added the Michigan sign and slipped and scored the murph on. Tomorrow I will add the handle. I forgot to take a picture of this but I had part of my handle with Murphy written on it but I ended up changing the design. (Day 6) Today I tried out making Murphy into my handle but it was to big so I put it onto my mug and I will add the handle and michigan sign tomorrow. I was gone because of an concussion on 12/08/14 and 12/08/14 on the acrylic painting and reflection. Today I began on my second soft slab mug. I will be adding my decorations and handles tomorrow if I have time. Today I added my handle and started to smooth my project out a little more. Tomorrow I will be able to start my next one. |
